Tadakatsu Honda (本多 忠勝, Honda Tadakatsu) was a graduate of Mikawa Academy and one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Matsudaira. He is the father of Futayo Honda, and the original owner of the Divine Weapon Tonbokiri.
Tadakatsu was a soldier of remarkable ability and a loyalist of Lord Motonobu Matsudaira of Mikawa. He took part in the Mikawa Meltdown, holding the opposition alongside his wife Kazuno, and helped in the success of Lord Motonobu's plan at the cost of their lives.
Trivia
- Interestingly, his name is based on the real-life general with the same name who served for the Tokugawa Clan during the Warring States Period of Japan. He was also one of the Four Divine Generals among the Tokugawa Generals during the Sengoku Period.
